How to Book
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3:00pm to 9:00pm – sorry, we can’t accommodate arrivals after 9pm as we like to spend evenings with our family. Check-out is until 10:30am.
When are rooms serviced?
We service all rooms daily between 11am and 12 midday, so you’re welcome to come and go as you please outside these times. If you need to access your room during servicing hours, just let us know and we’ll work around you.
Do you accept pets?
We’re so sorry, but we don’t allow pets – not even the cutest ones! We know it’s disappointing for pet owners, but this policy helps us maintain our allergy-free environment.
Can we get a room with bay views?
Please always ask, but we only have two bay view rooms and they book very quickly! It’s first come, first served, with priority always given to guests who book directly with us.
Do you accommodate hen or stag parties?
We don’t accept hen or stag parties, and any group bookings are made at our discretion. We’ve found this helps maintain the peaceful atmosphere our guests love.
Do you have a lift or ground floor rooms?
We don’t have a lift, and all our accommodation is on the first and second floors. There are also steps to the front door, so please bear this in mind when booking.
Do your rooms have baths?
All our ensuite bathrooms have lovely walk-in showers rather than baths – perfect after a day exploring the fells!
Do you have bicycle storage?
Yes, we do have bicycle storage available on a first come, first served basis. Just let us know when booking if you’ll be bringing bikes.
Do you have a bar?
We’re not licensed, so we don’t have a bar. However, Grange-over-Sands has some lovely pubs within walking distance, and we’re happy to recommend our favourites.
Do you provide an iron and hairdryer?
Every room has a hairdryer and heat mat. We also have an iron and ironing board available – just ask and we’ll bring it to your room.
Terms & Conditions
Cancellations
Cancellations made within 3 days of arrival will incur a first-night charge on all rooms associated with the booking. No-shows or early departures will incur a charge of 100% of the booking. As with all accommodation bookings, we recommend taking out travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
Smoking & Vaping Policy
Corner Beech House and its grounds are entirely non-smoking and non-vaping. Smoking or vaping inside the building or within the grounds will result in immediate cancellation of your booking without refund and a £150 surcharge.
Arrival & Departure
Check-in is between 3:00pm and 9:00pm. We regret there is no flexibility for late arrivals.
Groups
We don’t accommodate groups at Corner Beech House without prior consent from us.
Children
We’re sorry, but we don’t allow children to stay at Corner Beech House.
Pets
We don’t allow pets to stay at Corner Beech House.
Parking
While we provide free parking, cars are parked at owners’ risk. We cannot be held responsible for any damage or losses whilst vehicles are in our car park.
